We've Moved to Our New World Headquarters!
Due to tremendous growth, TOPS is proud to announce that we've moved to a new World Headquarters located in Richardson, Texas, about 10 minutes south of our previous office. We made the move Labor Day weekend (September 3, 1999).

Our new facility gives us 60 percent more office space compared to the previous site. We currently have 15 employees at TOPS; the increased space gives us room to expand comfortably to 26.

The new office houses our newly expanded customer service and technical staff departments, as well as our expanded programming research and development, sales, marketing and operations staff.

The move also provided a good opportunity to upgrade our voice mail system. As always, TOPS is committed to providing personal support 100 percent of the time. But in the event that all support people are on the phone with customers, we think you'll find the new voice mail system to be improved.

We've also upgraded our database software, which we use to track all customer information. This new database system will help us more effectively keep tabs on our customers and their needs.

For our new address, telephone number, etc., please see the first column on this page. We hope you'll visit our new home the next time you're in Dallas.

Did You Know...

MaxLoad: When editing a manifest, you can add a row, column or layer to the placement by Shift-clicking (simultaneously pressing the Shift key and clicking) on a surface.

MaxLoad: Alt-Shift-clicking performs the reverse function. When editing a manifest, you can remove a row, column or layer from the placement by Alt-Shift-clicking (simultaneously pressing the Alt key, Shift key and clicking) on a surface.

TOPS Pro: When working with an analysis of more than two stages (for example, Carton->Tray->Pallet), TOPS normally shows only the two stages of packing at a time (Carton->Tray or Tray->Pallet). It's possible to show all three stages at once; that is, show the cartons in the tray, loaded on the pallet. With the Unitload drawing highlighted, open the Edit menu and select the Show Contents option. This feature also shows Unitloads in a vehicle or Cartons in an intermediate packer and shipper.

Our web site now features a "Tip of the Day"!
